anti tvi filter (Zetagi)

Postby Billybob » Tue Jul 01, 2008 5:42 pm

Hiya guys,
Ive just came by a anti TVI filter (zetagi F 27)!
I have a question of how or witch way round to install it? :?
Dunno if any of you have seen theses filers they are just a little box say 4inch long, with female PL plug connectors on both ends!
I understand is just a straight threw inline coax run, I'm just wondering if it makes a difference witch way round it goes???
Any light on this subject would be most welcome..

BTW, if any of you remember the last posts,,, I was umming and erring about what new twig to upgrade to from my 1/1 wave silver rod. I managed to get hold of a second A99 solarcon as new really just a few months old off a breaker.
And I gotta say, It blows my old silver rod away when it comes to DX'ing and also receptrion!!! =P~
Thanks again guys
Regards Billybob... :D :D :D

Thanks again Stampman.
So if I dont need it, dont use is the message!
If I did, would it matter witch way round I run the coax through it, because its just a little box with two inlets on either side of it ,And a Zetagi F27 name plate on it? :?
Thanks again Stampman.
Regards Billy... :)

No it doesn't matter which way round you use it and yeah if your not causing tvi in your area than don't worry about using it. Having said that I don't know of any tvi I caused but I still put 1 in my coax just in case :) .
