Hello all, glad to see there's some breakers still out there! Home 20 is Dorset, personal is Gary.
Just trying to get back on the airwaves, ordered my rig because I sold my old ones, going to put it in as mobile so I can get about a bit. Can't wait to get some dxing in now it's legal! And am is legal, I still refer to it as outlaw 😂.
Look forward to some interesting convos with everyone. Keep the shiny side up

Good afternoon Little fella

Dennis QTH Northampton
Hope you enjoy your DXing on 11m (25MHz - 28MHz) if you keep an eye on the propagation reports you can get some amazing QSO contacts on your radio depending on your antenna set up. When l was a regular on the CB / 11m scene l have sat at home talking to a farmer in South Africa, on a simple CB base station running 4 watts into a 100 watts linear amp. on a standard 11m i/2 wave diapole antenna. Many QSO into easten europe and alike.
Basically if the propagation is right you can have some great QSO even on 4 watts.
Enjoy your radio.
