hi all iam new to cb world so if my question seems silly then iam sorry but what are cb burners and how do they work and are they legal to use in uk?

cb burners multiply the power that comes out of the rear of the set and are illeagle or a sick bird depending how you read it

i have a team me 4 radio which i use an orbita ariel and my swr is 1.5 wat is the biggest burner with built in amp could be used with this set up and what kinda of range should i expected with burner with this set up cheers guys

remember the braker you are talking too has also to be useing a burner or it makes the whole exercise expensive and pointless

Be careful if using a burner in a truck because of the (amp drain)
From experience the largest burner you can use on your 12 volt dropper would be a CTE747 100 watt out at 9 amps, if you use your 24 volt plug you can go twice as powerful..
Of course check the dropper first...
