i went to leicester today to a job ,,, i found the cb users there are a really good crowd and quite accomadating and fun ,, still smiling now,,

its nice to travel somewhere and be welcomed and fit in straight away ,,

there are some good hills just outside also and i pulled over to try some dx ,, no overseas stations today but made berkshire from leicester,, and also boston lincs ,, so i know i was working well ,, pity no prop though,,

big thanks to leicester and catch you all again soon ,

Leicester to Berkshire - you were doing well. What equipment were you using?

i was using my cobra 148gtl-dx , a sirio 4000hp on a vw caddy van via a turbo mag, also help from a kl500,
the station from berkshire was 26-SD-102,gave me a report of 5&5, i log all my contacts near and far , its good for reference ,

i found the outskirts of leicester an amazing place to transmit and receive from,, 8)
