hi all,

if anybody fancy visiting holmfirth where they film last of the summer wine with there family & you fancy doing a bit of dxing afterwards don`t worry there is a perfect spot at holme moss what is above holmfirth on a clear day you can see for miles & will get great contacts & here are a couple of pictures of the location you will find the car park on woodhead road across the road from the holme moss transmitting station,

yeah it sure can be when the weather behaves mate lol & with me been a local holme moss was once a lot of peoples spot to park up back in the 80s but defiantly not wise to open your door on a very windy day as the wind would try & rip your doors off & in the back ground in the 2nd picture you will just about make out emley moor TV transmitter.
