Radio Discussion Community

Greeting to you all. Handles Redneck and I'm in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. Like most of you here it seems I'm another 80's CB'er reviving their days past and delving back into the world of CB radio.
Already got my mobile setup on the pickup with a CRT 2000 (second hand off auction site) with Thunderpole antenna. Had a bit of a fiddle getting it set up but is now installed and running fine.
Have a Midland Alan handset for portable and setting up home rig soon with 5M Thunderpole 5/8 antenna on order. Still debating the choice of home rig to buy. (Advice accepted!!!)
Looking forward to getting back into CB as they are just such cool things.
Take care,
Redneck.
