over deviateing

can anyone please help me i have a supperstar 120 it was just an am rig but i had a piggy back put in it to make it fm as well but when im on people say im of frequency where i had it done at say that its on frequency and that its over deviateing can anyone help me with this please

talk quiter and further away from the mic did the shop try listening to it on tx the should if it comes to it be able to turn the deviation down
