Hey folks just new to site and thinking of buying a scanner anybody any ideas of which one is best.

hi and welcome

bearcat seem to be quite good depend what you whant to listen to realy as some frequancys sutch as airband has a dedicated scanner for it and if you whant to listen on shortwave then that is again a differant scanner
the ubx780 seems to do a quite reasonable job as supplied by andys boss
so decide what you whant to listen to and good luck

Would like to listen to Aircraft and general CB. But would like a scanner that covers the most bands. :shock:
