Hi Guys

Just a few lines to say that i have sourced 2x Maxon CM10 radios here in Germany this day and wanted to say a few words. Sure, the man from Maxon maybe will be again on my case but the truth needs to be said and so it will be

WELL DONE MAXON!!!!!!!!!!! What a good set you have there :D Well made, nice audio. In Germany we have AM legal also and the radio is stronger in AM audio than FM audio but its strong... All people have commented so far, how good the audio is.

16 bands in total and total bandwidth is good 8-[ no mention here of the total coverage, but its good!! For those who use export radios outside the EU. [-(

Board is cut nice, the soldering job is EXCELLENT and again, a Maxon made radio shows the way with the ASC =D>

So, come on Mr.Maxon please write here, this is a magic product... For house, for car its a bargain

Checked it a little more now and its impressive indeed.

A few humble notes if can mention them? Guess will be told off.

1) Send one of these to President. The Kenji from Emperor was twice the price of this and was junk.. So much so, its now deleted and not made more [-(
Let them see how a budget multi EU radio should be made

2) Next time add an s meter socket and a channel button, easier for the truckers and those mobile, or add up down on the mike and make it 6 pin and not 4

3) KEEP THEM COMING, let us see the next one......

Hi Simon,

Sounds good. Just goes to show its not always good to tar all radio's from one manufacturer with the same brush (not you obviously, just most tend to assume because a manufacturer makes 1 or 2 dodgy radio's they are all bad).

Well done Maxon, might even get one myself to have a play with. At £60 it isnt going to break the bank and it might be better than my Midland 98!!

There is some truth that in the past some brands they supported was not the best but this one, i like it a lot. I have it sat here side by side with a President Walker (its been put away 4 months) and now re set up. Asked 6 people what audio they like the most, 5 went for the Maxon. [-( Not scientific but was on air. Also we tested it this evening on the rhodes and Schwarz and it was well, 3.78w on FM in the UK spec.

Well done Maxon, and now to carry on with the review as have to try and make it fast to the UK so others can take a look and see this one, its not bad at all, it is infact a lot better than that.. Video is made so hunt it out

Hi Simon,

Nice little video there, gives a good overview of the radio. =D>

Would you personally rate this as the best budget radio compared to say the Team ME-4, Midland 121, Intek 110, Midland 98 or dare I say Harry 2??

Oh man thats a question. And as we are on the forum of a seller its best not to really answer maybe?

For me

Intek
Harry2
Alan 121
Midland 98

Just as they are multi EU and the ME-4 is not. Guess as always, horses for courses
