well yeah sorting the swr out on home base antenas is no fun up and down ladders like a yoyo and wasteing a day at it can get very annoying ::-()

lets see how about this one The 'Thunderpole 5/8 wave Hy-gain' has 3 ground planes on the bottom. This allows it to perform better on transmit than the standard 5/8 wave.

link as well,

http://www.thunderpole.co.uk/5-8wave.htm

or how about this beuty http://www.thunderpole.co.uk/cte-spectrum-1600.htm and do you have to swr all big home base antenas in or are some already pre tuned fatfinger or stampman 8-[

The Imax 2000 was supposed to be pre-turned but I know mine wasn't very good. Ended up winding it's turning rings down quite a bit.
