Best flexible anntenna

[otter8]

What's the best flexible anntenna for mounting on a tractor other than orbiter types ? Is the super flexi any good ? Or The sirtel gamma 2r any good ? Any other ideas ?

Quarter wave tank whip http://www.thunderpole.co.uk/tank-whip.html is the best and only £17 but at 9ft tall you would have to bodymount it lower down like on the middle of the bonnet (Best for all round coverage) or wheelarch (but will be more directional) , second best would be A Wilson 1000 or K40 but very expensive , avoid fiberglass antennas on a tractor as they usually get broken easily by tree branches and such.

WILSON 1000 IS VERY flexable on the whip american s/steel and works great on tractor mirror arms tank whip not very bendable

can not believe i missed this post & time to be honest & blunt i think,

the bigger the antenna the better it will perform k40s after reading reviews about them not all impressive sorry lads or who ever loves them, the wilson 1000 similar to the k40s to expensive & to high rated again after reading reviews about the wilson 1000 it does work well but the voyager works just the same as the wilson 1000 & that it from reading a review who tested these at the same location,

if your looking for a good budget with high performance then the sirio hi-power 3000 might be the one at 1.80m heigh abut 5ft` 10in tall or maybe the red devil another base loaded steel whip with good performance.

the s300 & sirtel santiago i have never heard before & the sirio hi-power 4000 same as the 3000 but with a longer whip just over 6ft & are both 7/8 wave.

but as i always say the choice is your mate as long as your happy that`s the main thing
