is this a suitable aerial for a hgv cab roof?

toying with the idea of getting one, but in the pics the mount looks quite small?

you would be very surprised at the amount of truckers who have a cb switched on and won't speak if you ask them for anything ie police speed checks/roadworks/traffice jams.

yet if you have a pretend huff and say something like 'oh well take it easy watch out for vosa in the next layby', they ...

i am using two cbs in my cab...one am and one fm...i know i can buy a new fancy dual band one but the old ones work fine!!

problem is that i only have one aerial and i have to keep swapping the lead from one set to the other..

is there any product that allows you switch aerials??

are burners fairly easy to wire in?

one of my pet hates are people with echo mics who have the echo set on!!

tried a thunderpole power mic today and that was working ok.

new wagon on monday...07 plate r series scania. never wired cb in one these, do they come pre wired?
